We also offer private tutoring sessions where students receive one-on-one instruction in subjects where they require assistance. Our tutors are experts in their fields and have the ability to really connect with their students. We offer tutoring for grades 6 - 12 as well as college-level students.
Based on an initial academic assessment, we will create an individualized education plan for your child, matching tutors based on the student's academic needs and personality. Our qualified tutors will provide support for their current classroom instruction and assignments, helping to rebuild any missing areas with one-on-one instruction. Our goal is not only to raise grades but also to build confidence, organization, and study skills.

Melissa is an educator with over 20 years of teaching experience with Elementary through College students and has built Akasha over the past 12 years, and was named Teacher of the Year at her Middle school in 2009, and in 2011 she was named Broward County Middle School Math Teacher of the Year.
